well i had a fairly lively discussion with a christian today - she, the christian, trying trying trying to persuade me that i need to be saved thru Jesus and i kept telling her that might be what has to happen to her, but i really don't need 'saving' and all those crazy rules and regulations, hell damnation and fear aren't part of my spirituality ~ she ended pretty much by saying that she has her work cut out for her with me. what a dork. i've been reading Eagle Man's book Creator's Code and the native american's concepts, while also chock full of ceremony, etc., the bottom line just seems so much more of common sense - nature based and in my heart of hearts it seems right. They have a concept of God - but the literal translation of their word for god is 'mystery' - well duh ~ cuz for all the pious christians and their stringent "our way or the highway (or hell way)" protocol - the truth is, nobody knows for sure what is in the spiritual realm, what god is, or what will happen when we die - so Mystery seems truth, right on. I don't even really have proof that there is a spiritual realm, no solid scientific evidence, but inside my beady little heart and mind I believe there is something besides this dimension of time, of greed and envy. peace out

Hi Truthwoman! That was a very good post. I used to be Catholic but left the Church, for various reasons. Now I'm happily agnostic. Keep up the good posts :)
